Resolved Find all references to a table in all InfoMaker reports and queries

I have multiple pbl files in a folder and would like to find all reports and queries where a specific table is used so that I can change that table reference to a different table. Is there a way to do this in the InfoMaker graphical user interface as an end-user?

  Here is what I was talking about ....

Step#1: Library Painter ...

Step#2: Search Dialogue ( Enter a table name ) ...

Step#3: Result ....

Hi Paul;

   You can use InfoMaker's Library Painter for that & then do a search for the actual Table Name. HTH

Thanks, Chris, but I don't see how this would find the reference to a table in the multiple reports within a pbl file. I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious. :|

It works just like PowerBuilder. Open Library Painter, right click on a library and the Search window appears. Type the table name into the Search For field and click OK. It will search all objects in the selected library.

Hi, Paul -

Right-click on the .pbl and select "Search" from the popup menu. Use the dialog window to specify the name of the table and search options, then click the OK button. The source code in all of the reports in the .pbl file will be searched, and any that contain a match will be listed in a "Search" tab in the pane at bottom. Double-click any listed report to open it.
