Hi

I am asked to install Appeon File Server to another location (per our IIS settings) on our server instead of the root - C:\inetpub\wwwroot\

I am wondering if I install the file server to the new location, say, D:\something\something, how would the NVO appeonfileservice know where to fine the file appeonfileserver.xml, or would I need to manually copy that XML file to the root?

I think what I am asking is if I install the File Server to another location, are there any extra steps that need to be taken for the File Server to work properly.

Thanks!

Hi CJ;

1) The "D:\something\something" folder would need to have IIS permission (ie:  IIS_IUSRS ).

2) The "appeonfileserver.xml" needs to reflect the new location.

    PB Apps are not sensitive to this change. Only the sub-folders they interact with.

HTH

How do I make sure that the XML file reflects the new location? Is there any parameter that needs to be modified?
