Existe alguna forma de colocar color a un botón de comando?

La razón por la que no puede asignar un color a un botón de comando es porque es un control estándar de Windows, dibujado por el sistema operativo Windows. Si bien es posible subclasificar el botón de comando y alterar su color en algunos lenguajes de programación, PowerBuilder/PowerScript no admite subclases.

Una alternativa que podría considerar es usar temas de PB, pero si desea asignar diferentes colores a los botones o asignar colores dinámicamente, es posible que los temas no sean una buena solución para usted.

[The reason you cannot assign a color to a command button is because it is a standard Windows control, drawn by the Windows operating system. While it is possible to subclass the command button and alter its color in some programming languages, subclassing is not supported by PowerBuilder/PowerScript.

No, pero podr'ias usar un "picture button". Le pegas una imagen que simplemente es una que tiene un color.
