We are using PB 2022 R3 Build 3356 for our App.

We are able to successfully build the project, but when trying to copy the App.EXE into any drives (local or network) we are getting an antivirus error. All the other project files including the PBDs are copying fine, except the EXE file.

Found out the Antivirus software is throwing out an error and deleting the EXE File.

We have a release this weekend, and we are at a loss on how to get it fixed.

If anyone else has faced a similar issue, please help us out ASAP.

I have attached a word doc showing the errors.

Thanks in advance, appreciate your help

Hi Ganaesu,

The antivirus might be detecting a false positive on the EXE file. One commonly used way to prevent this is digitally signing the executable.

Other than that, you can submit a false positive report to the antivirus manufacturer but I think that will take more time; and adding an exception for the file in particular might not be a good permanent solution.

Francisco
