Hello,

when i compile a project (all objects are checked in under Subversion native source control for Powerbuilder 2019 R2 2328), i get the following message for each datawindow. Other objects than datawindows are not affected.
If I hold down the escape key longer, the project compiles successfully.

Is it really necessary to get a lock on all objects before compiling?

Hello Tom,

thanks for answering. The pbl's are not read-only.

The error message refers to *.srd files in the ws_object folder.
I am wondering why Powerbuilder tries to change all the datawindow objects while compiling.

This sounds like a bug, but I can't reproduce it. Please open a ticket at https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug and provide a reproducible test case. Thanks!

Samuel,

This issue could happen if any of your PBLs are marked as read-only or has the SVN property need-lock turned on when you refresh your workspace. Please check if any of your PBLs are marked as read-only or has the SVN property need-lock turned on.

If the issue happens when you do a full build or deploy, please open a ticket at https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug and provide a reproducible test case. Thanks!

Regards,
Tom Jiang
