Hi,

I'm getting the following error when trying to work with .msg files. I'm using a 3rd party component and the error appears at the point the component tries to load the ,msg file. I have tried with two 3rd party DDL's and both return the same error. I also created a VB,Net test application and ther eeverything works ok.

Does anyone know how to resolve this "no data is available for encoding 1252". I'm using PB2022.

Thanks,

Kari

Hi Kari;

  To resolve this issue you would need to contact the 3rd party vendor of this control.

Hi everybody,

hope the following helps if others run in to the same problem. I spotted this from a posting, but have lost the link so I can't credit the writer.

In any case the  root of issue was that I used the PB Tool DDL importer and hadn't ticked the following boxes in the "Advanced Settings" area.

After selecting the above ones, all worked finr.

Kari

1252 probably refers to Windows-1252 which is the code page used for ANSI text on the Windows operating system.
