Hi Mark;

  You just need to install the SS Client installation that comes with the SS DBMS package. The client install normally allows you to install the native, odbc, ado.net, etc driver variations.

  FWIW: I would suggest installing both the 32 bit & 64 bit client drivers. While the PB IDE uses 32bit drivers, you can now compile your Apps into 64 bit. So having both bitnesses might be useful. Food for thought.

HTH

Thanks Chris! I also just found links to both 32 and 64 bit drivers .

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=29065. Expand the Installation instructions. The links are about half way down. The 64 bit will install on windows 10, the 32 bit will not.

Mark

I have both bitnesses installed. I believe that the 64 bit install has both (if my memory serves me right).

BTW: I'm using SS2017
