Hello,

We have a web application that uses a dll for displaying graphs in our reporting module.  Before I deploy to Power Server, I have made sure to include the dll as an external file to be deployed under the Power Server Toolkit Configurations for the application. The reporting module works now and I can see the graphs accordingly.

However, the issue is the first time I visit the site, the following unknown error message is shown. Once I click OK I don't get the error anymore on subsequent visits.  Am I missing some settings in the AEM, my local windows machine's registry/local permissions or something else in the deploy process?

Thanks,

Sam Vafadar

Hi Sam;

   It could be because the DLL registration requires ADMIN privileges. However, you may have also inadvertently checked the "Register" checkbox in your PS App Profile's external files to deploy settings. If this DLL truly does not require this action, then just uncheck the Register option. Then redeploy.

HTH

Thank you Chris, I unchecked the Register option, re-deployed, removed the appeon folder from my local roaming folder, and tried it. It was working now!!!

Cheers,

Sam
