Resolved Diff Tool Powerbuilder 2022 not working

Hi,

Using Powerbuilder 2020 when i use the diff tool I get the following error:

File compare/Merge could not find any JRE.

Sounds like the diff tool you are using has a dependency that JVM is installed and no JVM or at least not correct version of JVM is installed on your system.  Diff tool is separate from PB so I would contact the diff tool company for troubleshooting help.

"The diff tool". Which source control are you using? What is the name of the merge/diff tool?

Hi Ranj;

  Appeon has removed all Java based features in PB due to a) being old versions and b) exposing product & app security risks.

   I would suggest looking at source code comparison tools that do not rely on the PB IDE based JVM being present.
