I have a need to debug PowerServer Web in 32 bits on a 64 bit platform.  After installing the MSFT Script debugger and setting break points, when launching the debug session the browser opens in 64 bits.  How can I force the debugging to occur in a 32 bit browser?  I tried modifying the URL but that didn't seem to work.

Any help or wisdom would be much appreciated.

Hi Don;

   You can use the IE 32bit browser also included in newer 64bit MS-Windows O/S's or you can make IE 64bit run in 32 bit mode by using RegEdit to modify the following registry entries:

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\ in the Windows registry, add the following ...

  • one DWORD value: TabProcGrowth = 0
  • two String values: Isolation = PMIL, IsolationImmersive = PMIL

Here is my PC's configuration ....

Hi Don,

Appeon Debugger can work on both 32-bit and 64-bit machines. But for 64-bit machines, Appeon Debugger can only work with 64-bit Internet Explorer.

Please work around this issue by debugging application on 32-bit machine.

ZhaoKai
