To change the identity configuration. According to this section of the documentation of PB2022R2 we must add to DBPARMS

https://docs.appeon.com/pb2022r2/connection_reference/Identity.html

SQLCA.DBParm="Identity='SCOPE_IDENTITY()'"

But in this section he says that he is not supported

https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022r2/DBParm.html

 Is the identity configuration by DBPARMS valid?

Thanks

I will close this consultation thread since there are several consultations that come from the same error and I am trying to find which one is.
I'm just going to leave this thread active (question 1 )
https://community.appeon.com/index.php/qna/q-a/input-string-was-not-in-correct-format-with-dinamic-datawindow-update-method-in-powerserver

By the way, I tried to extract a test case to analyze it, but it is extremely difficult to extract it
I can only attach the Datawindow Syntax just before executing the Update method (as attached to the shared thread)
thanks

Hi Damian,

I think you have learned about the DBParm properties currently supported by PowerServer 2022 R2 through https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022r2/DBParm.html
Other DBParm properties not listed are not supported and will not take effect.

AFAIK, PowerServer is already using SCOPE_IDENTITY() to obtain new generate Identity value for the SQL Server database, so no additional settings are required in your code.

Regards, Logan

Hi Damian;

  FYI: PowerServer does not use the DBParms field. Except for the one setting "CacheName".

   What you are referring to is for client/server based apps only & not Cloud App's.

   The DB driver settings for PowerServer are set in the PS project's "database" section - Advanced Options.  HTH
