I am trying to import XML data into a datawindow. XML has header which i don't want to import. I want to import 3 rows of data in the Item tag. I am getting does not pass the validation test. If i use Data Import template i am getting Import file failed. please let me know what i am doing wrong. I appreciate your help.

 PB version 2017R3

Yes Chris if I remove the Header part from the XML it works, but i don't have control removing the Header part, I get the data with the Header part. I am looking if there is a way to import data even it has Header part. I think XML template should work, but i am getting Import file failed.

FWIW: What I would do is read & parse the Header section out of the XML file via a little PowerScript and then output a "cleaned up" no header XML file. Then import that into the DWO.

Hi Prasad;

   Yes, you need to loose the "Header" part of the XML for the DWO to import properly (see attached).
