Resolved DataWindow Background - Theme change

Hi 

I am currently using PowerBuilder 2022 R2 where we are adding themes to our application.  Unable to change the background to the Datawindow.

  • We want to add a background color to the window. 
  • Inside that window we have a data window, we are changing the background color in theme.json, but it did not work.

  • so, we are trying to modify the background of datawindow in the properties of the datawindow in power builder IDE 2022 R3, We want to change the color of the header, details... 



    We were able to modify almost all the controls colors in the theme.json file. We could not modify the background color of window. Is it possible to through themes.json file? 

    Also, please advise on how to change this in IDE.

Hi

What type of DW are you trying to configure, Grid & Crosstab DWs have their own settings withing the DataWindow section of the JSON file?

Grid & Crosstab you can change the head-band colour in the JSON file.

 The main DW settings change the background colour, but noting specific for the header (that I can see).

    "datawindow":
    {
        "drawing":true,
        "background-color-enabled":true,
        "background-color":"#FFFFFF",
        "normal-state":
        {

 

Finally, your can override the these by using an expression to set the colour. Only for Standard DWs, not Grid or Crosstab.

Composite, Crosstab, Freeform, Graph, Grid, Tabular etc.....

I would try using an expression for the colour in the IDE and see if that works for you.
