Sorry if I have missed something - likely obvious knowing me..

Is it possible to have database connections associated with Workspaces?

Like a lot of folk, I need to support a number of existing applications and develop new ones. It would be great if I can open a workspace on my PC and be connected to the same datasource I was using when I last opened it. Even a pop-up asking if I want to connect would be fine.

Currently I am supporting a number of applications in a number of environments. It's a pain when you find yourself still attached to a database which has no relation to the code you are viewing and attempting to edit.

Hi Brett;

   This is not currently a feature of the PB IDE.

But you will put it in PB2022r2? :-) Thanks Chris. I was hoping I hadn't missed something obvious. Its easy when you work alone as a developer.

It's certainly an interesting concept. Maybe, even an associated DB by "Target". You're always welcome to email an enhancement request to product@appeon.com or you can open a Support Ticket for this as an enhancement request. Then, we can see what Engineering says about your idea.

Workspace would be a good place to start with and also to store informations into the filesystem to make them easy to save into / restore from the configuration management tool of your choice.
