Resolved Database connection

I'm using PowerBuilder 12.6. This problem just started happening today. I've not encountered it before (actually EVER).

When I click on my database from the Database Painter then right click on the one to which I want to connect and choose properties. I can enter my credentials, then click on Apply, then go to the Preview tab and test my connection and it says that I connected.

Then I click on OK and go back to database profiles and when I try to connect from there it won't let me. It says 'Login failed for RiBrooks'.

But when I run the application it logs in when I give it the credentials. So it seems that the Database Profiles screen is the only one that won't let me connect.

 

Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

I'm sorry, I just got the answer. I noticed the database painter told me that the cryptography module failed to load correctly and I had to restart Powerbuild. It's workng now

Don't you love it when a reboot actually solves the problem?  :)
