Hi Friends,

If I don't have Cut/Copy/Paste/Undo in my menu structure with short-cuts (Ctrl-x, c, v, z), will they still work?  Is it just standard windows behaviour?  Looking for ways to simplify my menus.

TIA,
~~~Tracy
Hi Tracy;
   Yes, most "edit" based  controls (ie: SLE, MLE, EM, etc) will work with those keyboard shortcuts as long as the control has "focus".
   If any of your menu objects have those shortcuts assigned (even hidden ones) the menu event takes presidence. Another possibility is that the control in focus has Script on low level O/S events, those can also intercept the controls basic behaviour.
  Note that the same behaviour / override as above is also taken for pop-up menus of a control.
HTH
Regards ... Chris
