Hi team,

During my "Build & Deploy Powerserver project", I got below warning message under "Errors" tab, may I know where is the setting to choose TLS1.2 instead of TLS1.0 protocol?

Security Warning: The negotiated TLS 1.0 is an insecure protocol and is supported for backward compatibility only. The recommended protocol version is TLS 1.2 and later.

Thank you,

Best Regards.

JX

Hi ZX;

Wow, I have never seen this one! Does your App use ether the HTTPClient or RESTCLient object classes?

I would also suggest creating a Support Ticket for this issue.

Regards...Chris

Hi Chris,

yes, we are using both httpclient and restclient objects to make API call, sending PDF/Excel report, communicate with Ariba network to handle b2b activities etc…

ok, will raise a support ticket.

thank you.

Thanks. My framework has ancestors for these & I demo them in my Order Entry demo app yet, PS complies do not mark this error. Very strange. Looking forward to your ticket as this has peaked my curiosity.

Hi JX,

Thanks for reporting this issue! We reproduced it on our end and will do further research to figure it out. We will keep you posted on the progress.

It seems MS SQL Server database or driver related, you can enable TLS 1.2 on both database server machine and client machine to solve this issue. For how to enable TLS 1.2, please refer to the article below.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/plan-design/security/enable-tls-1-2-client

Anyway, it is just a warning, you can ignore it, and it will not affect the application.

Regards,
ZhaoKai
