Hello All,

I am getting an error that I cannot resolve after trying multiple attempts at solving it.

My coworker can deploy fine to the IIS server with no issues. I am using the same project that was cloned from the Git server. In this workspace, I can deploy another app fine while the second app is getting this error. That same app that has the error can build and run fine locally as a powerbuilder app.

I have made sure the folder has full control read/write permissions and unchecked the "read-only" check box. This folder is in the same folder as the initial application that can deploy with no issues. There does not seem to be anti-virus or .dll blockage issues as well as the other app can deploy to the IIS server fine.

I have made sure I chose the correct .ico file and not a missing one. I have tried restarting PowerBuilder and the computer as well.

I have also cloned a second copy incase there was something that went wrong in the clone but it leads to the same error above.

Does anyone have any other ideas I can try to get this fixed?

I solved it! Incase anyone comes upon this in their error research, the problem was Git was pulling 2 empty data window objects (it was intended to be deleted) from my colleagues pushes. (he had pushed the code in a way that didnt show the delete correctly). That came into my environment and cause build and deploy issues for PowerServer but not a local build and deploy for PowerBuilder.

Hi Esau;

  Another requirement for interacting with IIS deployments is that the PB IDE*must* be run in "Admin" mode. Is that the case in your environment?

 The next thing that I would try is deleting the C# repository. You can locate that folder as declared in your PS project. HTH

Hi Esau,

If this issue only happens in your machine, there are some suggestions:

1) Please right-click the current PBT and "Full build" it. Could you see the same error?

2) If only this PBL got this error, please right-click this PBL and "Optimize" it. Then Open and "Build and Deploy" the PowerServer project.

3) If still not resolved, please create a new PBL, then "Move" all files from the import_main.PBL to this new PBL. Then Open and "Build and Deploy" the PowerServer project again.

4) If not work, please verify whether you can provide a small case that can reproduce this issue using the new library.

Regards, Logan
