Hello Everyone,

   I am hoping this is an easy one for the group.  We have a newly installed Infomaker 2019 implementation and we have just started testing.  Right out of the gate, we can't click on the Data Source button and have it do anything.  It isn't greyed out, and when you click it - it clicks, but nothing happens.  It should open the Data Source dialog and allow us to edit it, but it does not.  Several users have reported this issue, and I have replicated it myself but don't know where to go with it.

  Any guidance and help would be appreciated.

Hi Bruce;

  As a Test ... (If the IM user's having Report Painter DataSource issues) - does the DB Profile Painter feature work OK to connect to your DB first before using the Report Painter?

Hi Bruce,

You have to create (if you already didn't) an ODBC profile for connecting to database. Make sure you are connected to the desired instance and Data Source will work. It's a bit slow as it retrieves columns from database tables but it works.
