PB 2017 R3 on Windows 10 using IDE.

I have a window with an MLE on it.  If I copy/cut/paste from within my app, everything works fine, but if I try to copy/cut from Notepad or some non PB app, the paste into the MLE doesn't work.  Pretty sure this must be a known issue, does anyone have a workaround?

Thanks,

Kevin

It turns out it had to do with the number of carriage returns in the pasted text being greater than the number of rows in the MLE, even though I had Limit = 0.  Once I added a vertical scrollbar and auto vertical scroll I was able to paste the same text that was failing before.  It would've been nice to get some type of error message instead of nothing, but at least now I know what was causing it.  #ifudidntknownowuknow

Excellent news Kevin .. glad that you found the issue!

Yes, I always run with a Vertical Scrollbar ON as the default setting in my ancestor MLE. ;-)

Hi Kevin;

   FWIW: I tried pasting in various text from various external Apps this morning and could not reproduce your problem. Each time, the MLE was able to receive the contents of the CTL+V. BTW: I am using W10 Spring Creator edition.

HTH

So I guess I just log this as a bug?  Nobody else has had this issue?
