I'm having trouble getting Appeon Plugin to work with Google Chrome version 64 with SSL.  It keeps downloading the plugin for installation over and over again.  I have no problem when using a standard http call to run the application.  I have a valid certificate for SSL and have no issues with Microsoft IE running with or without SSL.

Hi Ron;

   Try running the browser as ADMIN and see if that does the trick. Once installed, you can go back to normal user mode.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the quick response.  I tried the browser as admin and ran the plugin install as admin. That did not work.  It might be related to the tightening security by our cyber security team.  They have been really focusing on locking the environment down.  I will see if I can get some help from them.  It will just be a problem for my 200 users if they want to use chrome.

Thanks again!

Kind regards,

Ron

Hi Ron;

  Another trick is to run the Plug-In installation by running the "Update.EXE" App located in within the "ax_install_x32.zip" and/or "ax_install_x64.zip" files that are located within (for example on my system) the "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\appeon\weblibrary_ax\support" folder.

Again, run this EXE in Admin mode.
