I just installed PB 2019 R3 build 2797 (latest). Everything looks and it is working good. The only issue I am having is when I try to run the application via the IDE we get this Connection Failed (999 SQLState = IM002: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source name not found and no default driver specified. message.

I check and the Data Source name is in the ODBC User Data Sources list. We tested the connectivity and it work perfect.

Could you please give me an advice or direction to take with this minor issue that I am having.

Regards,

Clarence.

Hi Clarence;

   Make sure that the DSN matches the bitness of your App's EXE. Otherwise, that type of error would occur. HTH

Dr. Pollach Thank you for replaying to my question; I appreciate it.

The issue was that the odbc data source was created in 64Bits. I created in 32Bits and everything works perfect..

Clarence

Tip: If you see a profile in the ODBC admin tool 32 bit and when the 'config' button of a profile is disabled, then you know that that profile is a 64 bit profile.
