Hi. My original issue is that OrcaScript in PowerBuilder 2019 (installed from the separate AutoCompile.exe installer), when running on Windows Server 2008 R2, is giving me the error "DataWindow syntax has incorrect release number." While it works fine on my Windows 10 computer (using the OrcaScript installed from the normal PowerBuilder 2019 install), I'm not sure why that is failing on my build server.
Regardless, as I think it might be faster to try mass-upgrading all of the SRD (DataWindow) files to release 19, I am not sure how to do it. I have tried a migration and a local OrcaScript build, but neither cause PBL file to update the contained version of the datawindow. (The exported datawindow still has the old release number.)
The only way I can currently see to update the datawindow is to open the file and then save it. Once that is done, it will then export as release 19. My issue is that I cannot do this manually since I have over 5000 datawindows. Is there any way that I can mass-update my datawindows to the latest version?
I believe some datawindows are release 6 or 10, though most are 10.
Thanks for the quick response! I uninstalled PowerBuilder 12.1 on the build server and then the OrcaScript started working properly.
Thanks a ton!
