Hi,

I'm using Power Builder Version 2017 R3 Build 1858.

I have chosen EditMask style type and "Drop-down Calendar" property for a column in a data object.

When I run the application from power builder/exe, the calendar pop-up is opening on the very first click.

But if I deploy the application into Web, the calendar pop-up is not opening on first click. For the first click, the column is getting focus and the pop-up is opening on 2nd or 3rd click only.

Can you suggest, any other settings to be done to open the calendar pop-up on first click in web?

Hi  Saravanakumar;

   I just tested this aspect with PB2017R3 MR 02 (build 1880) and PS2017 and you are correct, the double-click issue with the DDC is definitely apparent. I tested this with IE and FF / Chrome as the web browser plug-in's are slightly different between web browsers (under-the-covers). Both plug-in types have that incorrect DDC behaviour.

  Great news though ... in testing the same issue with PowerServer 2019 and PB2017R3 build 1880 or PB2019 beta#2 (build 2002) - the DDC double-click issue has been fixed!  Only a single click is needed for the DDC to respond prroperly!

  I have replied to you as well with more details in your support ticket #2676.

HTH

Regards ... Chris
