Resolved Biometric (Face or finger print scanning)

We have an app for time clock in and out. At this point it does not have any kind of verification (Only a check mark but anybody can click and do the check mark). I am trying to find out how can I do finger print scanning and verification or better do face scanning and verification. Any idea, direccion or documentation how can I accomplish this biometric task?

Hi Clarence,

PowerServer Mobile offers fingerprint support via the eon_cordova_fingerprint object (from C:\inetpub\wwwroot\appeon\developTempFile\appeon_workarounds\appeon_workarounds.pbl).

Just create an instance of the object and call the proper fingerprint verification method. See here the API:

Alternatively, you can rely on the PowerServer Mobile support for many Cordova plugins. Among the other, the fingerprint. You need to instantiate the AppeonMobile.CordovaPlugin OLE object

and then master some JavaScript to call the Cordova plugin API:
