Hi,

Right now, we are using VSTS hosted and we compile our PB application using Powergen through some PowerShell scripts.

Our plan is to migrate the infrastructure from Hosted TFS to AzureDevops in the cloud and build and release from ther.

Is there a way to run the PB 20xx compiler in Azure DevOps?

Hi Inaki;

   FYI: the PB2021 release included a new external compiler utility called "PBAutoBuild.exe". Please use this utility to compile your PB Apps outside of the PB IDE. Also please note that the PBAutoBuild replaces the old PBC.exe compiler utility. Please do not use the PBC as it is now being deprecated.

Regards ... Chris

It comes with the PB2021 installation & yes, the utility can be copied on to any machine where you need it.

Chris - Can you please elaborate. PBAutoBuild.exe can work as standalone compiler without the need of PB Runtime installed on the container?

No, it needs the PB Runtime & PS Toolkit to be installed with it. Thus, you will need to use the PB installer but then only select the PBAutoBuild feature. HTH
