Hi,

i am getting this error while adding datasource for PowerServer2020. My OS is 64bit and Powerserver is 64 bit installed. Could you please help/suggest a way to overcome this error.

Attempt to load Oracle client libraries threw BadImageFormatException. This problem will occur when running in 64 bit mode with the 32 bit Oracle client components installed.

Thanks,

Rohit

Hi Rohit;

  PowerBuilder and it's PowerServer Toolkit are 32 bit in nature. However, PowerServer itself is 64 bit. Thus, you will need both the 32bit and 64bit Oracle DB Client software installed. The two OCI (Oracle Client Interface) DB Client drivers can co-exist on the same PC.

HTH

Regards ... Chris
