If the error shows up on windows 11 system saying that it is missing msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll is it possible to copy the window 10 dlls into my runtime directory.  Is there a security risk in coping msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll to windows 11?  Are there equivalent files in windows 11? Can you copy these files from windows 10 and paste them in you runtime directory in window 11 and provide that to a client without any risks?

Michael,

We copy those files in the windows directory for PB 2019 R3 applications.  So far it's running without any issues.

Yes, PB 2019 R3 needs those DLLs. As Chris mentioned, PB 2022 and newer does not.

Hi Michael;

  These DLLs are no longer used by PB 2022 which is the only version now certified for use on W11. Those DLLs that you listed were from Microsoft C++ circa 2010 which is now deprecated.
