The reason why the browser was not responding was due to that the application was trying to ping the LDAP server but it didn’t go through in time for some reason.
The possible reason might be: a) issue with LDAP Server. Please try and see if you can ping the LDAP successfully with a different tool. b) Verify if the network (such as DNS) is In good condition. You can test it for several times and see if it is slow every time.
Additionally, if you enter a wrong password, what error log do you get? Does it say something like “wrong user name or password”?
Please also verify using an account with higher privileges.
