I have just installed PB 2017!  :)

My PC has MS .NET Framework v4.6.1  and  MS .NET Framework 4 Multi-Targeting Pack  installed, but the Read Me file states:

For installing PowerBuilder & PowerServer Toolkit

    Windows 10, Windows 8.1, or Windows 7
    Supports Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 runtime only, not development.
    Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0

Am I good to go?

Thanks,

Olan

Hi Olan;

  PB 2017 (Cloud & Universal Edition) & PowerServer 2017 require the .Net 4.0 framework to be installed. If you are installing the Universal edition though - the PB 2017 installation will add the .Net 4.0 framework automatically if it sees that its missing on your PC during the installation process.

I have .NET 4.7 installed on Windows 10 and working great for me.  I think the documentation says 4.0 because that is the minimum version that is required.  I have given feedback to the documentation team to see if revision needs to be made to the documentation.

Thanks, Armeen. I agree the docs need to be updated as per Chris's response below.
