I have a replacement PC for the current PC. PB 2019R3 is installed on both, but the new PB needs the online license activated.

My license admin is not available.

Now I cannot launch PB 2019R3 on either PC because the license is not activated.

See attachment for message blocking my access.

Can you activate the license?

Thanks,

Stan

Thanks Chris and Armeen.

All is good now.

I think my original issue was with trying to connect to the same corporate VPN tunnel from both PC's, which is not allowed here.

Once I connected through separate VPN's, you solution worked.

As Chris mentioned, you need to logout of one the PB IDE using the sign out function of one machine to use PB IDE on another machine. You cannot be simultaneously logged in two both PCs regardless you aren't actively using it. We reset the login on the previous PC so that's why you can login now to your other PC. Has nothing to do with VPN.

Hi Stan,

Adding to what Chris said, if you are unable to logout of the IDE on PC #1 for some reason, then you should ask your license administrator to do a forced logout through the Appeon Website: https://account.appeon.com/logout-user/pb

To save you time, our support team has already done this forced logout for you.  You should be able to use PowerBuilder now.

Best regards,
Armeen

Hi Stan;

  You do not need a 2nd online license for for your 2nd PB. Just login with the same account email address that you are using now. Just make sure that you logout of the IDE on PC#1 before using PC#2 (or 3,4,5,etc for that matter).  HTH

Regards ... Chris
