Hi to everyone.

I have a question about the bug submission system appeon provided us. Is there any way to mark an active bug that it is affect us? I believe that a bug should be delcared only once, but anyone who is affected by that one, should also be able to tell it.

Andreas.

Hi Andreas,

You can certainly know the update of a bug that has already been reported. When a user wants to report a new bug, he/she types the summary of the bug. At that moment, the system looks for "Possible duplicates" and lets you get added to the loop by pressing the "Add me to the CC List".

You can also post your bug in the community and let others know you have already reported the bug by adding the bug number. That way, if anyone else wants to get added to the loop, they may know which one it is.

Regards,

Govinda Lopez

Ok. Thanks for the answer.

But I would like to understand how appeon can be notified that a bug affects lot of people, and not only the person who reported it, and if there is let say a mechanism that make them prioritize some fixes.

Andreas.

Hi Andreas,

When you raise a bug, there is an option to set the priority: "P1 to P4". It is stated in the "Appeon Standard Support Plan Description" that these levels of priority are mostly based on the effect that the bug has on the customer. So, by definition, a P2 priority, or higher, would indicate to us that there is more than just one user being affected by this. You can also let us know on the comments/description of the bug.

If more users find the same issue affecting them, they can also contact us at: support@appeon.com Appeon staff is constantly looking into this platform and are happy to help.
