Resolved 2019 R2 Themes not working

Themes are not working after  2019 R2 update ...  Someone can tell me the solution....

I am using a window theme from additional properties - > Themes - > Flat Blue design. Not Dynamically.

I have an exe compiled in earlier version of PB 2019 on a clients machine. Now when i upgraded to 2019 R2 #2279 and compiled the same, themes disappeared at clients sites. (In my working station it is working(uncompiled)).

Did you deploy the new runtime files and new theme definitions?

There are significant extensions to themes so I would assume using old theme files may have difficulty displaying correctly. What happens if you call ApplyTheme running your app from IDE but use the theme folder you deployed with the app? Return value of ApplyTheme? Reaction of IDE when you select the theme file?

I have a RibbonBar demo running in PB 2019 R2 #2279 where UI themes work fine.

  • What do you see not working in your app?
  • Are you changing theme dynamically?
    If so, what is the return value when you change theme?
  • Are you using customized theme?
    If so, do any of the Appeon themes still work?
  • Did you create a theme for an earlier (private) beta of PB 2019 R2 and after upgrade it fails?
    Do themes supplied with new R2 build still work?

Trying to get a grip on where the "not working" lies.
