Are you using the built-in PowerBuilder Mail functions or OLE control of Outlook to send email?

You could try my SMTP object:

http://www.topwizprogramming.com/freecode_emailsmtp.html

It connects directly to your email server. It was able to connect to the Office 365 servers at one time, not sure if it works currently.

Are there any error messages or conditions?

To the best of my knowledge Office 365 doesn't provide the traditional APIs... it's cloud-based so they rely on Web services.  So your existing integration between your PB apps and previous versions of Office aren't applicable to Office 365.
