Hi ALL,

Just want to confirm whether the getfullstate method support when using the .net assembly to deploy webservice, and using the setfullstate to get the datawindow state in client by the webservice?

Hi Dong;

   Yes, that feature is supported in the PB 2017Rx "Assembly" feature. The Get/SetFullState methods though will not be supported in the new PB2018 C# Assembly feature.

My suggestion would be to keep all you Assembly DWO's in a separate PBL as they will be compiled into a PBD anyway. You will be able to then change DWO's on-the-fly from there.

The other alternative could be to export all your DWO's source (ie: LibraryExport method) and then load the source into a Table Blob column. Then you could read the DWO source from the Table Blob and do a DW Create ( ) as needed from there.

Thanks Chris.

One more question, could we depoly the assembly with dll include pbl file which include the datawindow component in PB2017? I add the pbl into the resource file when deploy, but seems the datawindow couldn't been called by client after deployed.
