Hello team

Is any whay to select if the SAVEAS and saveasformattedtext with ENCONDINGUTF8! to USE UTF8 without BOM or with BOM.

We have a end customer that is having problems cause the the BOM

If you google on "api to convert utf without bom" you'll get some results: some of them suggest using python, cmd line or powershell. I was looking for a windows API function, but couldn't find any (though there probably is one).

There might be something also on Topwizprogramming, but not sure.

If I understood well, the BOM is just some characters at the beginning of a file, so you could open it and re-write it without those characters.
