Hi!

I was running my program and I had have noticed, when I type the @ (at) in the rtf control (TX Edit), and there was some text in the clipboard, it will be copy to the control from the clipboard.

Is it switchable? How to turn off this feature?

Regards,

Géza

If possible, upgrade to pb 2019 R3 and after that install the latest MR for that version.

Hi Chris!

The answers:

OS version: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Hun

We use TX control.

Exe problem

P-Code (32 bit)

RDP and local user can be reproduce this error.

I'm investigating, and I'm closer to the solution.

We use a localized Windows (Central Europe, Hungarian version), and we use localized keyboard.

On the Hungarian keyboard,

the @ character is AltGr+V keys, and then copy characters from clipboard before @ character

when I switch to American keyboard layout

@ character is Shift+2 keys , when not copy characters from clipboard. This is correct.

I've attached a small test program. This is machine code, and I can reproduce in it. Our customers use Hungarian versions of Windows.

Regards,

Géza

Hi Chris!

The version of PB is PB2019 R2 build 2353

TX Text Control (where is the version number(

I've tried it on US Windows (Oracle VirtualBox) with English keyboard , the error doesn't appear. ( It is not copy from clipboard, this is ok)

I've tried it on US Windows (Oracle VirtualBox) with Hungarian keyboard , the error appears. ( It is copy the content of clipboard before @ character and the @ character appears after, this is incorrect!

I used the .exe from my attachment of this topic.

On the hungarian layout, the typing of @ character need tho press AltGr button and V button. See the link.

In 2019 R2, the TX control version being used is mapped in the Application Object within the App Painter.

Hi Géza;

What version of the O/S, PB & TX control are you using? Details like IDE problem or EXE problem. If EXE, then bitness P-Code / M-Code, RDP / Citrix used, etc might help alot.

Regards ... Chris
