Hello,

Would like to know whether it is possible to create RESTful web services in Powerbuilder 2017 or later?

Pointers to any link to create such web services using powerbuilder is welcome.   That I could learn that technology before Powerbuilder 2019 arrives, to develop Desktop cloud applications.

Happiness Always

This is feature of PowerBuilder 2018, which is scheduled to release end of this year.  Please take a look at this preview page with code examples and performance benchmarks: https://www.appeon.com/pb2018.html

Thanks Armeen Mazda,

The page mentioned in your link is focussing more on RESTful clients, it seems.  Not much details regarding creating server-side business objects (e.g. RESTful Web APIs).

Hope some more details in that area will be better.

Please watch the video embedded on the page I suggested you look at.  That code being written in C# with DataWindow technology is for the server-side not client-side.  Also, if you are still in doubt please check the roadmap page: https://www.appeon.com/developers/roadmap/c-web-api-target.html

Thanks Armeen Mazda.  I'll look into that again.
