I need to implement repair order scheduling into my application. Does anyone have any recommendations for a calendar/scheduler control? Drag/drop is a must according to the service department :)

Thanks

Joe

Perhaps Brad from PB Ultimate Suite can whip something up.

We use the codejock calendar control (referenced by Bruce Armstrong above) in our application for many years.  It doesn't have the best API but it does work pretty well and may suit your purpose.  It looks very nice--much like the outlook calendar.

Derek Hammonds,

I want to try codejock calendar control in my PB application. Can u help me with code snippets to use the same? I plan to try it in PB 2019 and postgresql combo.

Thanks.

We use the ActiveGantt control (https://www.sourcecodestore.com/Default.aspx) for which we purchased the source code over 10 years ago.

The site looks a bit stale now (most recent updates are from 2013 or so) and some of the links aren't working, so I'm not sure if they're still in business or not.

Well, that's what we use for scheduling, as in a Gantt chart.  If you're looking for something more along the lines of a calendar, perhaps https://www.componentsource.com/news/feature-releases/2017/07/31/codejock-xtreme-calendar-activex.

Thanks, Bruce. The ActiveGantt might be great for reporting. I'll have to check with the service guys to see if they can figure something like that out. The codejack calendar is probably more of what I'm looking for.

Hi Joe;

  Have you looked at Buck's objects on his DW-Extreme website?
