Use the application package on Powerbuilder 2017 toolkit to deploy application to client server but when using the setup on the client server to install the application the message: The powerserver toolkit version is different from the Powerserver version is displayed

On the client and on our development appeon server is the same 1128 , so I dont know what version is comparing the installer

Hi Luis;

  The issue could arise from where the PowerServer came from. PowerServer is supplied with PB 2017 Universal Edition however, its is also supplied with Appeon for PB (now renamed to PowerServer 2017 coming out on Oct. 31, 2017). The latter includes Appeon Web whereas the PB 2017 Universal does not (mobile only - no local DBMS support).

  PowerServer with PB Universal is not the same as PS with Appeon for PB (PS 2017). This PowerServer includes Web & Mobile and supports local DBMS on the mobile device. Thus if your production PowerServer is of a different lineage than your development PS - even though its the same build - the installer could be detecting that diffence.

Just a thought.

Regards ... Chris
