Hello!

I'm working on a server with PowerServer 2020 installed and working, with some mobile applications in production.

I have an issue with the AEM login screen. The screen shows correctly, I enter user and password and hit the login button, but the page refreshes and ask again fot the user and password. No error messages, nothing changes.

I've tried the following things:

- I've tried to open the AEM screen and log in with Firefox.

- I've tried to reset the user/password to admin/admin.

- I've reset IIS.

- I've checked the AppeonServer.log and AppeonError.log files, but there're no entries about this. No matter how many times I try to log, these files does not change.

The only thing I've not done is to reinstall PowerServer, but I would prefer not to do it because I can cause more troubles than I have now.

Any clues?

Thanks for your support!

Hi!

I opened a support ticket and finally found the issue. In the web.config file of the AEM, there's a line similar to this:

globalization requestEncoding="utf-8" responseEncoding="utf-8" uiCulture="auto" culture="en-US"

I had a modification in that line changing the encoding to UTF-16LE and the culture to "es-ES". If I leave the original values then I can log correctly in the AEM. I did that modification long ago to help me with another issue I had with numbers, but this is another history.

Thank you for you help.

Do you get same problem when using different Web browser?  For example, try FireFox see if problem solved.
