Good day!

Aside from PFC, Is there any other framework for powerbuilder with accessible resources?

Thank you in advance!

Yes there is. There's the great STD framework made by Chris Pollach.

https://sourceforge.net/p/stdfndclass/activity/?page=0&limit=100#61bb7329de64f7d745ef2725

They're GREAT, but for me personally, the only thing I'm missing is proper instructions and documentation. You'll have to learn how to use them using the example applications. (PFC documentation is not that great either, the only docs available are old).

regards

Another good thing, is that Chris is always available for any assistence, so that's also an advantage over the PFCs.

fwiw, i don't use the pfc as my framework, but the resize service is one of the few things i do use from the pfc. i had to add a few missing features to it (add mdi client to the resize objects) and also a standard event to handle the registration of resize of objects at the proper time.

Great Elevate session on using the resize feature of PFC: https://www.appeon.com/developers/library/videos/using-pfc-resize-service-without-pfc.html

Agreed...Kevin did a great job breaking down the code, objects required to implement this is a non-PFC app!!
