Hi,

how is the ribbonbar control initialised using PowerScript?

In the documentation/How to guide there is only this :

wf_init_ribbonbar(rbb_1,False)

and I dont have the sample application the above is referring to.

Thanks,

kp

Thanks.

Did find the sample application and as I'm also begging to learn the new control,

 rbb_1.LoadFile(is_Ribbonbar_XML_Name)

was enough to make the menu specified in the xml file to becom visible/available.

Yes, that's well documented in the help also, but the demo app is interesting because it might give us an idea of how to migrate an existing application with traditional menus, to the new ribbon style menus. I'm afraid it might not be without effort, but at least it'll give me some ideas of how to do things (I hope).

You can get the demo application when you search for "ribbonbar, work with" in the Help.

Then you'll see a link to "working with ribbonbar", where in link to "tutoria....." and then in the "prerequisites" you get a link to: https://github.com/Appeon/PowerBuilder-RibbonBar-Example

The sqlanywhere db that you need is in a subfolder DB.

I'm also new with the control and I'm going to go through this tutorial to see what's possible and not.
