We have a Ole custom control (name ole_progress) defined in a window but when trying to access ole_progress.object.value property getting error accessing external object property value. what are the parameters i have to check to work the ole custom control  or how it works. please help if i need to check or add any control or registry  (windows 10 PB 2017 R3) thanks.

Sometimes a property is returned as Any so you have to convert it to the underlying datatype (String, Long, etc.).

The same code works in another machine, but does not work in some machines. What are the settings or registry entry i have to check or i have to import any of the active x control or register any ocx ? Please advise (OLE Control name blank in property window ) thanks

The OLE Control needs to be installed on all the machines. We can't be more specific because you haven't given us the name of the control.
