So we just paid for the annual renewal of our PB 17 Licenses but my PB still says that my current license expires in 20 days.

Can't locate anywhere to set it to the current new license.  The new license is valid but not active.

Does the new license activate automatically?  How do you activate it?

Hi
See: https://www.appeon.com/support/documents/appeon_online_help/pb2017r2/appeon_license_user_guide/index.html

But you have to wait until the new license is active i.e. 1. July

Regards
Arthur

Hi Richard,

If you renewed with the same seller, then your licenses should be automatically activated the next day of your current subscription expiration day. It should be transparent for your developers.

If your or your developers experience any issue on the date of the new subscription starting day, just press "Refresh" on your PowerBuilder's IDE License Management window.

Regards,

As others have mentioned you may need to logout and log back in so you see the refreshed subscription information, but at any rate since you have renewed and you are using an online license you don't need to worry about losing access to the software, support, etc.

We have renewed and allocated the subscription to the developers, but the license still says that it expires in 19 days and we get nags. I'd hate to have all my developers stop on 1st July....

We tried logging out and back in again and it wa the same.

Just a little bit concerned.

Regards

David

As stated in the other comments, you have to wait until July 1 for the issue to disappear. When it prompts you to renew then change the time period to 15 days so it will not prompt all the time. Everything will be fine. Supposedly in future releases Appeon will change this so you can register it prior to the renewal. The current version only allows it after it has expired.
