Hi,

I'm getting stumped on an orca script for a PB app that I'm migrating to PB2017R3.  It throws an error "Orca error in 'setLibList'. Result Code -4" "Library 'xxxxxx.pbl' failed to open
2019-01-08T19:46:48.4553438Z [exec] An OpenLibrary() operation failed. It is possibly locked by another user or deleted.  "

This is in TFS and number of pbls are 133, not sure if this is because the app has a lot of pbls.

Please help.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Please verify that if you have updated the ORCA API declaration to use pborc170.dll after upgrading to PB 2017, for example:
Function long PBORCA_SessionSetLibraryList (ulong hORCASession, string pLibNames[], int iNumberOfLibs) Library "pborc170.dll" alias for "PBORCA_SessionSetLibraryList"

If you still have an issue, I suggest that you open a Support Ticket at https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport and provide a reproducible test case.

Regards,
Ken

Hi Ken,

Thank you for the reply. I tried your suggestion but it did not fix the problem. We have another PB app that can generate a TFS build just fine. I'll create a ticket when I can provide a reproducible test case.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

What are you trying to do with ORCA?  Maybe there's something closer to a solution than writing in ORCA program?
