Resolved Need PB suggestions for SpellChecker capability.

For PB Classic - Version 12.0 Build 5530 and PB2019 Version 2019 Build 2082

 

Client wants spellchecking on certain text fields. 

Some controls are edit style, some are OLE Rich Text controls.

 

Is there a good tested standard others are using or officially suggested by Appeon? Cheap is good, free is better, solid and stable is best.

The one we use is Sentry Spelling Checker Engine for Windows, primarily because it's a set of DLLs rather than an ActiveX.

Hi Darren,

We don't recommend any particular spellchecker, but I'm sure many of our customers are using something.  Hopefully, they will share their experience here to help simplify your selection process.
