Hi,

I'm getting below message from Google Play which prevents me from publising my mobile app (has to do with Javascript vulnerable libraries).

Name    Version  Known issues                          Identified files

jquery    1.10.2     SNYK-npm:jquery:20110606       assets/www/jquery/jquery.min.js
                           SNYK-npm:jquery:20150627
                           SNYK-JS-JQUERY-174006
             1.8.3       SNYK-npm:jquery:20110606       assets/www/jquery/jquery-1.8.3.min.js
                           SNYK-npm:jquery:20150627
                           SNYK-JS-JQUERY-174006

I'm using PB2019 Universal Edition Build 2082 and PS2019 Build 2151.

Any clues?

Mobile deployment uses 9 year old copies of jQuery?

App store policies have gotten really restrictive on what you can do, so we no longer officially support app store deployment to discourage customers from going down this slippery slope.  We recommend compiling using an enterprise certificate and distributing either over-the-air download or using a mobile app deployment solution (e.g. AirWatch, IBM MaaS360, Microsoft Intune, MobileIron, SAP Afaria, etc.)

For instance, this (in PS Help) does not work:

"

...

Install Appeon Workspace on Android devices:

Step 1: On the Android device, enable the Unknown resources option (in Settings > Security), so you can install apps that are not downloaded from Google Play.

Step 2: Make sure your Android device can connect with PowerServer.

Step 3: On your Android device, access the Appeon Workspace download center that is posted in PowerServer (http://server_ip:port/aws) and then click the download icon to download and install Appeon Workspace.

Could you explain the "over-the-air" method?

Hi Miguel,

Once you have the Android project from the PowerServer Toolkit utility, compiling that to .APK file and distributing that over-the-air is no different than any other Android project. Google provides some documentation, but if you are new to all of this you may need some consulting help: https://developer.android.com/studio/run

If you don't know how to use the PowerServer Tookit utility to generate the Android project, please follow the PowerServer documentation: https://docs.appeon.com/appeon_online_help/pb2019r2/powerserver_toolkit_user_guide/ch09s02s01.html

Please note it is important you are upgraded to the latest maintenance release of PowerServer 2019, otherwise it will most likely not work.

Regards,

Armeen
