Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have an archive of old PB9 updates? I have the PB9 installation CDs and the 9.0.1 updates, but I need the maintenance release and EBFs for 9.0.2.

My client has an unsupported vendor app that was last compiled with version 9.0.2 7554 and the vendor provided a companion app with source code that is in the same folder as the main app. My client needs some minor changes made in the companion. I would prefer to migrate the companion app to PB12.6, but the extensive testing needed for the migration is not an option.

If I cannot location the 9.0.2 updates, would there be any problems compiling the companion app with 9.0.1 and using the 9.0.2 DLLs?

Thanks for any help!
Chris

Chris: I have the 9.0.2 updates if you need them.

Send me an email at mitchell.ryan@dre.ca.gov and I'll send them to you.

If the PB runtime DLL files are located in the same folder as the executable and nowhere else, you could have different versions in separate folders for each program.

Thanks Roland. Everything is in the same folder and I can't risk any impact to the vendor app. I need to move the companion app to its own folder and it will be safe to use a different version for the runtime.

I might have located the maintenance release for 9.0.3 and that would be better than 9.0.1.

Yes. 9.0.3 was very stable. And the last EBF was 8836.

Andreas.
