Resolved Limited the Year in a dropdown box or selection

Hello,

 

I have a request that is used for auditing. The user would like a dropdown box on a datawindow that will display the  Current year and only display four prior years. Basically show 2023, 2022,2021,2020.

Hi, Stewart -

Populate the DDDW (child DataWindow) with a database query. Most, if not all DBMS's support date functions in a SQL query. Extract the year from the current date, current year - 1, - 2, etc. I suggest you sort the rows in the DDDW in descending order if the current or immediate past year will be chosen most frequently.
